The Culture Pass Stock Exchange for 18 year olds reduced by half

As of March 1, 2025, the amount of the culture pass allocated to young people aged 18 is divided by two. They will now receive € 150 against € 300 before. For the record, originally, the scholarship had to be € 500. This reduction does not concern 18 -year -olds who obtained their credit of € 300 before the reform of March 1.

This reform, which aims to reduce the charge that the system poses on the budget of the Ministry of Culture, is accompanied by several adjustments aimed at redistributing the aid in a more targeted manner and especially to pass the pill.

Young people from modest homes or with disabilities will benefit from an increase of € 50, bringing their total credit to € 200. In addition, the validity duration of the pass is lying: young people will have three years, until the day before their 21 years, to use their credit.

Another evolution: the 17 years will see their allowance go from 30 to 50 €, an amount which will be added to the credit collected at 18 years if it has not been spent. On the other hand, the 15 and 16 year olds will no longer receive credit.

The Ministry of Culture stresses that all credits will now be combined from one year to the next. Despite this increased flexibility, reducing 18 -year -old aid is likely to weigh on cultural structures that counted on this support to attract a young audience.
