Five years after its creation, the general delegation for transmission, territories and cultural democracy (DG2TDC) is experiencing a change of management for the first time. Naomi Peres succeeds Christmas Corbin.
A graduate of the École Polytechnique de Paris and the School of Hautes Etudes Commerce de Paris (HEC), Naomi Peres began his career in 2007 at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie as project manager with the director. She joined the Ministry of Culture and Communication in 2008, where she held various positions, first as a mission head for modernization and reform of the State, then as director of the secretary general until 2013.
In 2015, she was appointed head of the Digital Innovation Department, a position she held until 2017. On June 19, 2025, she was appointed general delegate to the DG2TDC. In the meantime, she was a deputy director, then director of the cabinet of Minister Sylvie Retailleau at the Ministry responsible for higher education and research between 2022 and 2024. She currently held the post of Inspector General of Finance at the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty.
Noël Corbin left the management of the DG2TDC after his appointment, on April 28, 2025, at the head of the General Inspectorate of Cultural Affairs (IGAC), which he officially integrated on May 26.
The general delegation for transmission, territories and cultural democracy (DG2TDC), pilots the policy of the Ministry of Culture guaranteeing all audiences to cultural life. It coordinates artistic education, scientific dissemination, digital innovation, cultural development of territories and inclusion. This delegation does not have the same weight as the other directions of the Ministry of Culture (Directorate General of Heritage or General Directorate of Artistic Creation) and acts in coordination with them on specific missions, such as the Culture Pass.
