Disappearance of Yves Paumelle, founder of Profilculture

Yves Paumelle fought cancer for many years with courage and determination without ever giving up. Just a few days ago, he told us he was entering a new phase in the treatment of his illness but that he intended to keep an eye on Profilculture, the recruitment firm he created 20 years ago. But unfortunately the illness was stronger and he died on October 1st at the age of 57.

Yves Paumelle started his career in 1989 at Crédit Foncier de France, as a management controller then deputy to the head of financial affairs. He left the bank in 1999 to join a startup, Téléprosoft, specializing in digital printing, which he had managed until the company was bought out in 2003.

It was therefore in 2004 that he created the job offers site specializing in culture Profilculture, bringing to it all the rigor and professionalism that characterize it. Later he expanded the services to employers by creating a recruitment consultancy and career assessment activity. An excellent manager, he made Profilculture a profitable company which in 2023 generated a result of €0.40 million for a turnover of €2.60 million and 11 employees. In 2018, he gave the company international development by creating a subsidiary in Italy.

However, aware of his physical limitations, he was preparing his gradual withdrawal with the arrival last April of a new general manager, Karim Fadlallah, who must regain control of the company.

Very modest, Yves Paumelle did not like to put himself forward and displayed a restraint not devoid of humor. He was very proud of the career of his artist wife Sandrine Paumelle. A religious ceremony open to all will take place on Tuesday October 8 at 3 p.m. at the Saint Jean-Baptiste de Belleville Church in Paris.
